The ESL advisor works with students to plan a program of study to meet their individual needs and goals. Specific Duties and Responsibilities + Help ESL students with placement and registration. + Advise ESL students if they have academic problems. + Inform students of program or College policies, procedures, and requirements. + Distribute important academic and co-curricular information. + Assist the ESL Program Coordinator in recruiting and reaching out to the community. + Assist the ESL program Coordinator in ESL tutoring and Conversation Partners Program. + Participate actively in community organizations and events such as ESL information sessions. + Carry out other duties as assigned by the ESL Program Coordinator.
